Every player is more than an overall rating. Talent, potential, work ethic, coachability, ego, loyalty, role expectations, volatility, and NIL demands can make a player a cornerstone or a headache.

Spend limited recruiting resources wisely. Track interest, scholarship offers, competing programs, scouting confidence, position needs, and closing urgency.

Your NIL resources are finite. Decide who deserves support, which recruits are worth pursuing, and whether keeping one unhappy player is worth the cost.
