Gothic Classic

Experience the award-winning masterpiece that revolutionized role-playing games. Return to the penal colony of Khorinis in the iconic, dark-fantasy RPG that pioneered fully simulated open worlds.

Gothic redefined the genre by introducing a completely seamless, living ecosystem where every non-player character follows a strict 24-hour daily routine. Watch citizens work, eat, sleep, and dynamically react to your actions in a world that operates independently of your presence.

Thrown into a lawless prison under an impenetrable magical barrier, you begin as an absolute nobody. In this brutal environment, you must quickly secure raw power and make critical political choices to survive.

Align with one of three distinct convict factions, each boasting their own political agendas and unique armors. Your decisions actively reshape the balance of power inside the colony and dictate your ultimate path to freedom.

Master a revolutionary, hands-on progression system that eschews abstract menus. Seek out physical trainers in the wilderness to learn combat stances that visually evolve your fighting style from awkward recruit to lethal master.
