The British Trail

Discover the fascinating story of Britain's deep connection to Jerusalem with The Dangoor British Heritage Trail — a self-guided walking tour through the heart of New Jerusalem.

Follow the footsteps of pilgrims, generals, and visionaries as you explore the lasting mark left by the British on the city's stone houses, gardens, institutions, and culture. From the earliest English pilgrim Willibald in 725 AD to the Balfour Declaration and General Allenby's arrival in 1917, this trail brings centuries of history to life.

The trail features two walking routes:

Part A: From Mishkenot Sha'ananim to Rehavia

Part B: From Talbieh to the German Colony and back to Mishkenot Sha'ananim

At each station along the trail, scan a QR code to access rich multimedia content including video, audio narration, text, images, and interactive games.
